3D Printed Ammo Boxes — What to Expect and How to Care for Them

3D printed products have a distinctive finish and care requirements that differ from injection-molded products. This guide explains what to expect from a SquigglePrintz ammo storage box and how to care for it.

Material and intended use

Current SquigglePrintz ammo storage boxes are printed in PLA+ as stated on each product page. PLA+ is a rigid, lightweight 3D-printing material. These products are storage organizers only and should not be treated as waterproof, heatproof, impact-rated, fire-rated, or certified protective storage.

Each model is designed around the caliber, capacity, and closure style named in its listing. Confirm compatibility on the individual product page before ordering. Ammunition is never included.

What made to order means

Each box is printed after the order is placed, inspected, and fulfilled by SquigglePrintz in Fargo, North Dakota. Orders typically ship within approximately 5 business days. Carrier transit time is separate and is not guaranteed.

Layer lines and surface finish

3D printed parts show subtle horizontal layer lines from the manufacturing process. Minor surface variation is normal and may be more visible on some colors than others. It does not mean the item is used or unfinished.

Color options

Available colors vary by product. The active catalog commonly includes Black, Olive Green, Navy, and Gray. Screen settings and normal filament variation can make the printed color look slightly different from a photo.

Caring for your box

  • Heat: Keep the item away from open flame, heating elements, dishwashers, and prolonged exposure inside a hot vehicle.
  • Cleaning: Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not submerge the item or use harsh solvents.
  • Inspection: Stop using the organizer if it becomes cracked, warped, or damaged.
  • Storage: Keep it indoors in a clean, dry location and follow the ammunition manufacturer's storage instructions.
